Dr. Kevin McCusker

KevinDr. McCusker graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in both Physics and Computer Engineering. He continued his graduate work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he worked on free-space quantum optics, with applications toward quantum computing and quantum cryptography, with an emphasis on creating efficient sources. He joined CPCC in 2012, and worked on creating efficient fiber-based resources for quantum information (fiber-based single-photon source using four-wave mixing and an efficient all-optical switch).
